Posterize PDF is a technique that splits a single large PDF page into a grid of smaller pages, allowing you to print and assemble them into a large poster or banner. This is ideal for creating wall-sized prints from standard PDF files.
Why use Posterize PDF?
Tool Features
Select the PDF you want to posterize. Your file is processed locally and never leaves your computer.
Choose rows and columns, page size, orientation, overlap, and scaling mode. Preview updates in real-time.
Download your posterized PDF, print all pages, then trim and assemble them into your large poster.
Fit: Scales the content to fit entirely within each grid cell, preserving all content but possibly leaving white margins.
Fill (Crop): Scales the content to fill the entire grid cell, which may crop edges but ensures no white space.
Choose “Fit” for important edge content, “Fill” for full-page coverage.
We recommend 5–10mm (or 0.2–0.4 inches) of overlap. This gives you a margin to trim and align pages accurately.
Yes. You can select a page range in the “Advanced Options” section. Each selected page will be split according to your grid settings.
